Out at DOGE: Big Political Move Rumors Heat Up!

Vivek Ramaswamy, who was appointed by President Trump as co-chair of the newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), will not be taking on the role. Hours after the announcement, sources confirmed he was no longer associated with DOGE.

Ramaswamy, a biotech entrepreneur and former presidential candidate, is set to announce his run for Ohio governor next week. Although he helped launch DOGE alongside Elon Musk, the organization’s structure requires him to step aside. This shift comes after Ohio Governor Mike DeWine’s decision to appoint Jon Husted to the Senate, prompting Ramaswamy to pursue his gubernatorial ambitions.

Following a disappointing finish in the Iowa caucuses during his presidential bid, Ramaswamy became an outspoken Trump supporter, which could boost his chances in the red state of Ohio.
