While birthdays aren’t a big focus for him these days, Selleck hinted at a quiet celebration. “I’ll probably have dinner with my brother, sister, and Jillie,” he shared, adding that he doesn’t intend to “make a big deal of it.” This understated approach mirrors the spirit of the family dinners that became a signature element of Blue Bloods.
Selleck also spoke about the holiday traditions he enjoys at his 65-acre ranch in California, where he lives with his wife, Jillie Mack, and their daughter, professional equestrian Hannah Selleck. Reflecting on the end of Blue Bloods, Selleck expressed a desire to reunite with the cast and crew, whom he considers family. When asked if he took anything from the set, he revealed he kept Frank Reagan’s engraved Rolex and Marine Corps ring—two personal keepsakes from his iconic role. “I couldn’t bring his desk with me, but that would have been neat,” he added with a smile.
