Wilmer Valderrama Promises โNCISโ Season 23 Will โSet the Fans on Fireโ
Itโs officially time for a brand-new season of NCIS โ and Wilmer Valderrama is turning up the heat.
In an exclusive chat with TVLineโs Claire Franken ahead of the Season 23 premiere (Tuesday, 8/7c on CBS), Valderrama teased that fans should brace themselves for a โmassiveโ moment that he says will โset the fans on fire.โ While he stayed tight-lipped on the details, he promised that โthe speculationโs going to drive everyone crazy.โ
Of course, fans are already buzzing over a certain shot in the Season 23 trailer โ one that hints at possible sparks between Valderramaโs Nick Torres and Jessica Knight (Katrina Law). The potential romance comes with plenty of complications, considering Jessica previously dated Jimmy Palmer and Torres once dated her sister, Robin.
โItโs a little messy,โ Valderrama admitted with a laugh. โBut thereโs definitely something happening underneath. Weโre having a lot of fun exploring the humanity of these characters โ and that workplace drama is always delicious to watch. So, weโll see how far it goes.โ
Valderrama also revealed that this seasonโs storytelling will feel more connected than ever before. โEvery episode this season is intentionally stitched together for an arc,โ he explained. โFans should definitely read into everything โ even the smallest little scenes.โ
And thatโs not all โ some very familiar faces will be returning to NCIS this year, and according to Valderrama, their comeback is far more than a quick cameo. โTheyโre instrumental for what weโre planning,โ he teased. โTheyโre going to serve as something bigger.โ
With romance rumors, long-awaited returns, and a mysterious โmassiveโ scene on the way, NCIS Season 23 is already shaping up to be one of the showโs most explosive chapters yet.
