As his team slowly succumbed, Sam desperately tried to break into the sealed room, cracking his respirator shield in the process. Just as he prepared to blow the door open, a dying agent begged him to flee.
Meanwhile, Jane Tennant (Lachey) and Jesse Boone (Noah Mills) raced to stop Dr. Cruz from escaping with four more canisters of the virus. Despite being exposed, Cruz injected herself with an antidote and made a run for it. As Sam, struggling to breathe, pursued her up a stairwell, he vowed to bring her to justiceβbefore collapsing.
