Tom Selleck Sets the Record Straight on Blue Bloods Ending—And Hopes CBS Changes Its Mind
Tom Selleck is clearing up some confusion about Blue Bloods’ final season. In a new interview with Country Living, the actor confirmed that the last eight episodes will actually make up Season 15, rather than being part of Season 14.
“They announced this was gonna be our last season. I think CBS will come to their senses,” Selleck stated. “What people don’t realize is, we’re doing a 15th season. Season 14 has 10 episodes, like other shows affected by the strike. Then we’ll do eight more in the fall—that’s our 15th season.”
The Blue Bloods star remains hopeful that CBS will reconsider its decision to end the long-running police drama, noting that the show continues to dominate Friday nights and perform well on Paramount+. Selleck has been vocal about his desire for a reversal, urging the network to rethink its cancellation.
