911 Call Reveals Haunting Details of Gene Hackmanβs Death
Hollywood legend Gene Hackman, 95, and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, 65, were found dead in their Santa Fe home on Wednesday. Authorities reported no signs of foul play, though investigations are ongoing.
CNN obtained the chilling 911 call made by a caretaker, who found the couple unresponsive. According to reports, Hackman was discovered near the kitchen, while Arakawa was found in the bathroom with scattered pills nearby. One of their dogs was also found dead.
While toxicology tests are pending, Sheriff Adan Mendoza stated that the couple had likely been deceased for some time. Hackmanβs daughter, Leslie, speculated that carbon monoxide poisoning could be a factor, though initial reports found no leaks.
