A Tribute to My Hero: Remembering Wilma Norris Knight
My mother, Wilma Norris Knight, passed away on December 4, 2024, at the remarkable age of 103. Not a day goes by that I donβt think about her strength, her deep faith, and the boundless love she gave so freely.
Born in Wilson, Oklahoma in 1921, she endured the Great Depression and overcame hardships that would break most. As a single mother, she raised me and my brothers with a resilience and courage that still leaves me in awe.
But she was more than just our motherβshe was a warrior, a teacher, and the unshakable heart of our family. Her faith lit the way through our toughest moments, and her wisdom and patience shaped me into the man I am today. She was my greatest supporter and my lifelong hero. I will carry her love and lessons with me forever.
