Tom Selleck Stuns Fans with Bold New Look at Red Carpet Event!

Tom Selleck, 79, made waves at PaleyFest in New York on Thursday with a striking new look. The Blue Bloods star, known for his iconic mustache, surprised fans by debuting a full beard and longer gray hair as he joined castmates Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Marisa Ramirez, Vanessa Ray, and Len Cariou at the event.

Held at The Paley Museum, the celebration featured an advanced screening of one of the series’ final episodes, followed by a lively discussion with the cast.

Selleck’s signature mustache has been a defining feature of his career, though he once considered going clean-shaven for his role as Frank Reagan. However, CBS insisted he keep the look, he revealed to People.

As Blue Bloods nears its conclusion after 14 successful seasons, Selleck has been candid about his frustration over the cancellation. Speaking to TV Insider, he noted the show’s enduring popularity, which consistently ranked it among the top programs of 2023-2024. β€œThe show was always taken for granted because it performed from the start,” Selleck shared.

CBS announced the series’ end in November 2023, with the final season divided into two parts. While Selleck admitted it will take time to adjust to the show’s end, he remains focused on the cherished memories and legacy of the series.
