Tom Selleck โ€˜Missesโ€™ Blue Bloods Crew After CBS Cancels Show!

Tom Selleckโ€™s 80th birthday is fast approaching, and despite wrapping up Blue Bloods, the legendary actor isnโ€™t ready to step away from the spotlight just yet.

โ€œHe already misses the Blue Bloods cast and crew,โ€ a source exclusively tells Closer. โ€œHeโ€™d definitely be up for a spinoff or a TV movie.โ€

Blue Bloods aired its final episode on December 13, 2024, with Selleckโ€™s character, Frank Reagan, receiving the heartwarming news that he was going to be a grandfather again after Jamie Reagan and Eddie Janko-Reagan revealed they were expecting their first child.

After the series finale aired, Tom, now 79, shared the bittersweet feelings he had about leaving the show after 14 seasons.

โ€œThe hardest part right now is that Iโ€™d usually be shooting Blue Bloods episodes at this time of year, and I miss that,โ€ the Emmy winner told Entertainment Weekly on December 14, 2024. โ€œWhat really tugs at me the most is the family of actors we became. The friendships we built are so strong. It’s like high school graduationโ€”you promise to stay in touch, but life moves on. That happens in movies, too. You make connections, and then itโ€™s over.โ€
