After the series finale aired, Tom, now 79, shared the bittersweet feelings he had about leaving the show after 14 seasons.
โThe hardest part right now is that Iโd usually be shooting Blue Bloods episodes at this time of year, and I miss that,โ the Emmy winner told Entertainment Weekly on December 14, 2024. โWhat really tugs at me the most is the family of actors we became.
